What is Cupping? Cupping is an ancient healing method that may ease back pain, neck pain, headaches and other issues. It uses suction to pull on your skin and increase blood flow to the affected areas to pull out the toxins as well as impurities within the muscles and tendons.

What Can Cupping do for you?
Cupping can help ease the pain of a variety of different ails such as;

Arthritis, including reheumatoid arthritis.

What Toxins does Cupping remove?
Cupping works by creating a vacuum pressure on the skin which draws out impurities from deep tissue massage and muscles. This process helps draw out accumulated wasted products such as environment toxins and heavy metals that may have been stored in your cells for years without you knowing it was there.
After Effects and Bruising
In the areas where the cupping occurs there may be marks that are black, deep purple or blue indicating blood stagnation in the area. This means that an injury or illness has resided in the for a long time and the body has yet to full clear the stagnation

Side Effects?
While there are no dangerous side effects of cupping therapy, some clients may experience nausea, sweating or dizziness, mild soreness in the area where cupping is used and minimal pain (similar to a bad sun burn). Please make your therapist know to any skin conditions such as eczema, etc, as cupping may worsen that area.
What should you not do after cupping?
It's important to avoid any strenuous exercise or activity for at least 24 hours after cupping. This can help prevent further injury or damage to the treated area and give your body time to heal. Don't apply pressure to the cupping marks.
